No gentle intros, no verbal flashiness, no padding, and only 1 or 2 routine poems. "High Pressure" is good and several others aren't at all bad. Several forms are used: page 28 might be prose (page 9 and 14 might as well be?), there's a sestina and some rhyme too. But then there are poems like "Timekeeping" where the urge to have 3 lines per stanza dominates other formal considerations. Lacks a killer-punch.
