"Waiting to Burn" by Angela Cleland (Templar, 2006)

The pieces (all well-written) tend to have a plot - a final clinching paragraph whose seed is in the title or the first paragraph. This isn't a bad thing of course - my favorite poem is maybe "Much longer in dog years" - but there's a workshopped, polished, claustrophobic-closure feel to the pieces.
