"Orbis No 155" by Carole Baldock (ed)

A5 with 50 pages of poetry, 3 of prose, 9 of reviews, 8 of letters, 3 of interviews, and 9 of market information and adverts. It's a while since I've seen Orbis. I recall it as a magazine with craft notes and readers' votes. It has a different tone now, though in this issue, dating from Spring 2011, readers still vote, and poets still have their town beside their name. There are poems by some impressively familiar names - Martyn Crucifix (Crouch End, London), Richie McCaffrey (Stirling), Rory Waterman (Bristol), etc. Few of the poems rhyme. There's one translation. I wasn't keen on the prose.
