"Hard Water" by Jean Sprackland (Cape, 2003)

Many good poems. Hard to single out any outstanding ones. Seems to fall into standard patterns when developing a worthwhile idea, too often taking the easiest route to the end. But once one's used to the pace there are few disappointments.
