A pamphlet which includes several published and prizewinning pieces, but I was rather disappointed overall. "Dads" (runner-up in the MsLexia competition) is predictable in structure as well as content, and several other poems fell into anecdote-moral form. I like "The Lovers" (Bridport winner) but it looks like Flash to me. I like "Skylight" more for its potential than success. I like "A Candle for Lesley".
