"Night Porter" by Matt Bryden (Templar, 2010)

A pamphlet. I liked "Nights" and "Clientele". Clipped prose. Notes towards a story. "Respite" and "Duties" are less successful examples of this approach. "We open the windows as wide as sails" is one of the rare forays into simile.
