"Uncle Petros and Goldbach's Conjecture" by Apostolos Doxiadis (Faber and Faber, 2000)

I've read about the real-life mathematicians mentioned in this book - Hardy, Godel, Ramanujan, etc. Maybe that's why I saw little worthwhile in this novel. Why did Faber publish it?

There's a typo on p.129 - it says 2**(2**2)+1 is 257. The footnote's right though.
