"The Shape of Water" by Andrea Camilleri

An audio book. After a rather slow description of the political/social backdrop, the proportion/rhythm of plot/character develops well. At the end he explains the crime to the commissioner, telling him the that case is closed. Then he tells his girlfriend a different story. He selectively destroys awkward evidence, but not for very bad reasons. I liked it.
